Hear From Our Parents

“Aim High has made a huge difference to our family…the best thing we’ve done for our kids. Our daughter has missed a lot of her childhood prior to coming into our home at the age of 6 due to neglect and malnourishment. After just 6 months in gymnastics at Aim High, her physical therapist measured that she’s gained 3 years of strength! Gymnastics is her favorite part of the week and we are so appreciative of the inclusive, Christ-centered environment”

“Partnering with Legacy Family Network for a foster parent night out was way better than I was expecting! Within 4hrs of opening registration, it was literally full. To start off- I didn’t realize how structured it was going to be (in a good way!) Having rotations was perfect and allowed the kids to take turns (especially with the foam pit) and also learn new skills and try things they might not have tried if there wasn’t rotations. It was VERY well organized and staffed and I know of a couple parents personally who dropped their kids off and went on a date and it was the first date since taking placement of their children (for one family that was over 2yrs ago). Providing opportunities for families like mine allows kids to see how ‘normal’ fostering and adopting is and that they aren’t alone. It was also really fun to see two girls reconnect from a foster care camp they went to this summer. They were roommates at camp and haven’t seen each other until that night and they played the whole night together. Thank you for doing this and loving our kids so well.”

I have to start out with a huge THANK YOU for being such a positive and enriching part of our lives for the past 3 years. Everyone who knows us knows that Thursday nights are off limits for play dates, dinners out or anything other than gymnastics and ninja class. The kids look forward to Thursday nights because they know Aim High is a safe place to take risks and challenge themselves while they have fun with their friends and teachers. I look forward to Thursday nights because for a whole hour I get to watch my kids do something they love, I get to see their bodies get stronger and their confidence soar when they master a new skill. It’s a gift that I am very grateful for and would not be able to provide without the generous scholarships you provide.

We love the coaches and truly look forward to Thursday night all week. Thank you for giving my kids a safe place to grow and learn. It means the world to me that someone else believes in my kids and their potential to do amazing things as much as I do!”
