  • Jennifer Patterson-Bjornberg, Founder

    Jennifer is the Executive Director of Aim High Academy. She has coached gymnastics for over 30 years, over half of these at Aim High. Jennifer is married to Erin Bjornberg and has two wonderful children, Emily and Aiden. They are a constant reminder of God’s faithfulness and goodness.

    “We have the opportunity to help children overcome doubts and fears leading to accomplishment after accomplishment. Witnessing a child’s confidence soar after doing something they didn’t think was possible never gets old. All glory to God!”

  • Rich Howard, President

    Rich is a Founding Partner at Scissortail Wealth Management, LLC. He is a past member of Riverfield Country Day School board and past President of the Tulsa Chapter of the Oklahoma Society of CPA’s.

    “I believe faith and fitness are transformational in a child’s life. I want to do what I can to give the opportunity to grow in both of these areas to as many children as possible. Our biggest accomplishment is overcoming obstacles… Finding a gym, tornado, pandemic, AHA’s mission can’t be stopped!”

  • Chad Freeman, Vice-President

    Chad is the Production Supervisor for National Standard.

    “I feel Aim High's biggest accomplishment is providing a safe place with an environment of love and caring for all children regardless of race or economic background. We give children an opportunity to experience God’s love and grace.”

  • Michelle McKinney, Secretary

    Michelle is wife to Mike and mother to 13 year old, Madeline. She is in her 15th year of teaching Elementary PE at Marshall Elementary in Tulsa. In addition to teaching, Michelle is a curriculum writer for Oklahoma State Department in Physical Education. Her love for sports grew through her coaching experience in gymnastics. She coached gymnastics for over 25 years in Virginia, Arkansas and Oklahoma.

  • Sharmien Watkins, Treasurer

    Sharmien is the Owner of Watkins & Associates Accounting and Tax Services and serves on the boards for College Bound Academy and Tulsa Go

    “I love the vision and mission of Aim High, it has been a blessing to my family and to the Tulsa community. The biggest accomplishment is how we survived the storm… seeing how God provided more that we could have imagined as we began the rebuilding process after the tornado.”

  • David Barnes

    David Barnes is the owner of Scissor-tail Construction. He is a member of NAIOP,CCIM,and Associated Builders and Contractors. He is a volunteer football and basketball coach and has loved coaching for the past 30 years. He is also a member of Battlecreek Church in Jenks where he serves on Sundays with the Youth.

  • Jeff Bonds

    Jeff, Attorney at Law, is currently serving as General Counsel for the Oklahoma Aquarium Foundation and as a trustee on the Jenks Aquarium Authority Board. He is also currently serving a 4 year commitment as a Deacon of First Baptist Church of Tulsa.

  • J.D Morrison

    Lodge Manager at The Tulsa Boys Home, Chaplain Tulsa Air Force ANG, and Christian Education Director at Fellowship UCC. J.D. has served on the Tulsa Pan Hellenic Council and currently serves on the Board of Directors for: Latimer-Cooksey Arts and Cultural Foundation, the Middle Western Province, and for Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

    “We deliver the word of God through gymnastics all while fulfilling the purpose to serve families who may not have the resources for their families. This is a global accomplishment because Aim High’s primary focus and mission is to spread the love of Jesus Christ with fitness and faith.”

  • Debbie Wilson

    Debbie has previous experience serving on the board for the Tulsa Philharmonic.

    “At Aim High, every child who leaves knows they are special and that God has a purpose and a plan for them. This might be the only time they are told this Truth all week.”
